This is third hand information from a second hand, second hand source. It seem the blog Freemason Resource is reporting from a post on Kurts Kommentaries, that Brother Charles Martin, under the Grand Lodge of Kentucky, was expelled from Freemasonry. Br. martin's original post is gone, but you can read the 10 comments different brothers left him following his original posting.
If this is truly the case, then this is a dark day for the fraternity, and perhaps a day to call a boycott on the Grand Lodge of Kentucky for its overt punishment of Br. Charles and for its continuance of the Jim Crow Laws from the 20th Century.
Message to Kentucky: Racism and exclusion are an archaic form of control and isolation and to continue these "Jim Crow" exclusions will only further alienate you and your state from the rest of the world. To not recognize Prince Hall Freemasonry, and lets not mince words here Black Freemasonry, is reprehensible and you should be ashamed for expelling a member for his daring to do something outside of the box of what your state says is legitimate. Use this experience to build a bridge, not fill another sand bag.
Shame on you Kentucky Grand Lodge.
